Walsh Brothers is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our employees and all who work on or near our project sites.

The prevention of accidents and protection of property receives the full commitment, support and participation by everyone at Walsh Brothers. Safety is a core value that starts with our executive team and flows through the entire organization. The principles of safety and loss control reflect the determination by Walsh Brothers to prevent injuries to the general public and workers, as well as to prevent damage to property and equipment. It is our policy to conduct all operations safely, thereby preventing injuries to persons and damage to property.

Walsh Brothers is proud of our employees and the quality of their work. We are equally proud of our excellent safety record over the years. Accordingly, we commit to advocating a strong Safety Program that provides for safety and health on the job, protection of property, maintenance of public safety, and education, and compliance with occupational safety laws and regulations. Our commitment to safety is evident in many ways: Walsh Brothers’ employees are trained in first aid, CPR, hazardous materials handling, fall protection, OSHA 30-hour construction safety, and more. No employee or subcontractor works on any of our jobsites without being given the proper orientation in safety training.

Walsh Brothers has been recognized by the Associated General Contractors of America as one of the safest contracting firms in the nation. We have consistently been recognized as one of the safest contractors in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and have been awarded year after year with top honors for our exemplary safety standing. In addition, we have maintained a workers’ compensation insurance Experience Modification Rate (EMR) that is well below the industry average.
