BOSTON, MA, July 31, 2016 – Walsh Brothers, Incorporated announced today the hiring of the following industry executives bringing a variety of expertise and decades of experience to several company departments and client projects.

David Smith, Superintendent
Mr. Smith has 33 years of experience in the construction industry and has provided construction management services to multiple clients in the academic and healthcare industries including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston College, University of New Hampshire and Waltham Hospital. Mr. Smith is currently assigned to Walsh Brothers’ Harvard Medical School – Harvard Institutes of Medicine project.

Kevin O’Rourke, Senior Estimator
Mr. O’Rourke has 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has provided construction management services to many clients in the Greater Boston area including the Boston Red Sox, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, UMass Memorial Healthcare, and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Mr. O’Rourke is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and will work on multiple projects at Walsh Brothers’ headquarters office.

Stephen Harper, Senior Estimator
Mr. Harper has 31 years of experience providing construction management services to a multitude of clients across the state of Massachusetts, including MIT, College of the Holy Cross, UMass Lowell, Cape Cod Community College, and Bristol Community College. Mr. Harper is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and will work on multiple projects at Walsh Brothers’ headquarters office, including the North Shore Medical Center, Salem Campus Consolidation project.

William Guzowski, Senior Project Manager
Mr. Guzowski has 24 years of construction experience in the healthcare, life sciences, and higher education sectors, including work for Harvard Business School, MIT, Northeastern University, Boston Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Mr. Guzowski is a graduate of Salem State University and Northeastern University and has been assigned to Walsh Brothers’ North Shore Medical Center, Salem Campus Consolidation project.

Samuel Vaughan, Assistant Project Manager
Mr. Vaughan has six years of experience in the construction industry including work on many projects for the State of Florida including Miami Dade County, Fortune International, Woodfield Country Club and Integra Investments. Mr. Vaughan is a graduate of North Carolina State University is currently assigned to Walsh Brothers’ The Boulevard luxury condominium project at 110 Broad Street, Boston.

Tyler Greene, Assistant Project Manager
Mr. Green has 4 years of experience in the construction industry including work for Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Greene is a graduate of Keene State College and is currently assigned to Walsh Brothers’ Harvard Medical School – Harvard Institutes of Medicine project.

Nicolas Canesi, Co-op Student
Mr. Canesi has had construction industry experience working as an on?site engineer and laborer for various residential projects with Canesi Brothers Construction Inc. As a rising senior at Syracuse University, Mr. Canesi has been assigned for the summer to Walsh Brothers’ Massachusetts General Hospital, Legacy OR project.
