BOSTON, MA, November 1, 2016 – Walsh Brothers, Incorporated announced today several new hires across multiple departments.

Ed Bullock, Safety Manager
Ed has 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has provided safety management oversight services to many clients in the Greater Boston area including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Ed has past experience working for Walsh Brothers and is currently assigned to one of our Partners HealthCare project sites.

Edwin Chu, Assistant Project Manager
Edwin is a Graduate of UMass Amherst and has been working in the construction management field for the last two years. His past experience includes new construction, renovation and historic rehabilitation of multiple buildings throughout greater Boston. Edwin is currently assigned to Walsh Brothers’ MGH Legacy OR project.

Darlene Conners, Human Resources Manager
Darlene is a graduate of Northeastern University, and has over 24 years of experience performing in a Human Resource Manager capacity. Her extensive experience in Human Resources has been primarily focused in Construction and Real Estate firms in the greater Boston area, most recently performing in a similar role for the last 14 years at Campanelli in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Wayne Curley, Assistant Superintendent
Wayne has many years of experience in the construction industry and has provided construction management services to multiple clients in the academic and health care industries including Wellesley College, Mount Ida College, Good Samaritan Medical Center and Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center. Wayne holds multiple degrees including a B.S. from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a B.A. from UMass Amherst. Wayne is currently assigned to Walsh Brothers Dana-Farber Cancer Center project site.

Chris Karian, Project Manager
Chris has over a decade of experience in the construction industry including work on many projects for clients such as Westfield State University, AstraZeneca and MGM Grand. Chris is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and is currently assigned to Walsh Brothers’ Brigham and Women’s Hospital project site.

Douglas Mondello, Superintendent
Doug has over nine years of experience in the construction management industry including projects for the research and corporate sectors, as well as projects for MassDOT and MBTA. He is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and has been assigned to the Walsh Brothers’ Klarman Hall project for Harvard Business School.

Charles Noftall, Assistant Project Manager
Charles is a graduate of the University of British Columbia. He has over 11 years of combined construction experience as a carpenter and construction engineer. His past projects include a hydroelectric dam in the Yukon Territory (Canada), as well as the BC Women’s and BC Children’s Hospitals in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Charles has been assigned to work on Walsh Brothers’ Brigham and Women’s Hospital project site.

Mark Purty, Superintendent
Mark has over 33 years of experience in the construction field with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mark has large project experience in the commercial, industrial and institutional areas of the construction industry. Mark has performed work for such clients as FM Global, Harvard University, MIT, Eisai Research and is currently assigned to work on one of the Partners HealthCare project sites for Walsh Brothers.

Charles Reynolds, Senior MEP Coordinator
Charles brings over 35 years of seasoned construction experience to his current assignment for Walsh Brothers at one of our Partners HealthCare project sites. He holds degrees from both Norwich University and Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Charles past experience includes projects for clients such as the University of Rhode Island, University of Buffalo, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Envoy Hotel, as well as Blue Cross and Blue Shield to name a few.

Gerardo Sanchez, Senior Electrical Estimator
Gerardo has 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has provided estimating services for a broad range of clients in the Greater Boston area. He is a graduate of the National University of Engineering in Managua, Nicaragua and will work on a multitude of projects at Walsh Brothers’ main office.

Bob Thompson, Superintendent
Bob is a member of the Carpenters Union and has over 20 years of experience working in the construction management industry. He has provided oversight on many projects, including projects for clients such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Takeda Oncology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Millennium Pharmaceuticals and Boston Children’s Hospital to name a few. Bob has been assigned to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Pike Segment 3 and 6 projects for Walsh Brothers.
