BOSTON, MA, August 7, 2025 – Walsh Brothers is proud to continue our strong partnership with AGC MA, marking our fifth consecutive year hosting the Building Advancement Externship (BAE) Program.
Earlier this month, Walsh Brothers welcomed a new cohort of externs—STEAM educators and academic leaders from secondary academic institutions—to our home office for an engaging industry presentation led by the Walsh Brothers team. Our COO, Brad Forrest, along with senior site leaders, delivered presentations on Complex Project Design and Construction, offering valuable insights into our work and industry practices.
Walsh Brothers was thrilled to be presented with the AGC MA Building Excellence Award for our “commitment to supporting educator engagement and promoting career pathways in commercial construction”. We appreciate the efforts of AGC MA to bring these opportunities to our Industry.
A special thank you to Bethany McKinney, Project Executive, Wentworth alum, and CMIAB Member, for representing Walsh Brothers at the Career Pathways in Higher Education panel held for the BAE educators at Holy Cross. Bethany highlighted our ongoing collaboration with Wentworth Institute of Technology and other academic institutions in supporting meaningful career pathways for students entering the construction industry.
