This project expeditiously transformed the Cambridge Health Alliance Somerville campus by renovating over 60,000 square-feet of space on 5 floors to provide 69 patient beds and a food service cafeteria. Completed in 5 phases, the project provided urgent, incremental bed capacity in a 24×7 operating hospital, on a tight urban site in a residential neighborhood. The work was planned and executed to allow the hospital to keep all care and services operational.
