Morgan Hall – Terrace Level Renovation

Harvard University Business School

Constructed in 1928, this landmark institution’s historic building was in need of some significant restoration and adaptive reuse work. The 4,000 square-foot renovation required the demolition of existing office space and transitioned into a more open and collaborative floor plan. The restoration provided new conference rooms with state-of-the-art video conferencing and lighting control features, informal learning areas, workstations with custom millwork, and bathrooms. The project also required the incorporation of new ductwork and piping for the bathrooms. Summer faculty and students occupied offices surrounding all sides of Morgan Hall throughout the project. The active abutters coupled with the building’s tight urban location on Soldier’s Field Road, one of the main routes in and out of Boston, required an extremely detailed work approach.
